Jake is a self-taught artist from Maine who is currently waiting to get released in the fall of 2021. Jake spends most of his time creatively drawing, writing, and educating himself. He enjoys anything artistic, tattooing, poetry, music, and exploring new things. Currently Jake is working toward an entrepreneur degree at a local Maine community college, as well as teaching himself graphic design. Jake has created graphics for the MIT prison education initiative website and works side by side with the group on projects. Becoming a graphic designer and owning a tattoo shop are a couple of Jakes aspirations, which he plans to explore upon his reentry. This young man has a burning passion for art and hopes to inspire people with his story and creations.
